From 2006-2010, Rebekah was Founder and Director of Hemp Global Solutions Ltd, growing hemp research crops in the UK and educating on the importance of hemp for food, nutrition, fuel and shelter. She also created ‘Hempower,’ a Hemp porridge, and sold hemp seed and hemp protein powder under her food label AMARU. Since 2015, she has been deeply involved in promoting the Hemp industry in the UK. She is founder of the British Hemp Association that is seeking to remove the barriers to growth that are stopping the UK Hemp industry from thriving.
Rebekah also educates on the importance of ‘Plant Consciousness’ for our future survival, and teaches others the importance of ‘living shamanically in the urban jungle by reconnecting them back to Nature, and the natural cycles and rhythms of life.
Rebekah has a BA (Hons) in Study of Religions, and MSc in Development Studies, both from SOAS University, and a Post-graduate Psychology Diploma in the Human Givens Approach. She is also the author of ‘The Shaman’s Last Apprentice,’ and ‘Beyond Illusion’ the true stories of her apprenticeship with a plant medicine shaman from the Peruvian Amazon.
